They are Mary Morrison, William Seely, Pleasant Valley, and Claude Chester elementary schools. Despite the fact there are quite a few elementary schools in Groton, there is a lone high school and middle school in Groton. The middle school and high school are closely related. They are both named after the same person. The schools are named Robert E. Fitch Senior middle school and Robert E. Fitch Senior high school.
