Bay Village is a city in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, United States. The population was 16,087 at the 2000 census. There were 6,239 households out of which 34.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 65.8% were married couples living together, 7.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 24.9% were non-families. 22.1% of all households were made up of individuals and 9.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.55 and the average family size was 3.01. The median income for a household in the city was $70,397, and the median income for a family was $81,686. Bay Village is located in Ohio's 10th congressional district. The Bay Village Schools are ranked statistically as being the 2nd best out of Cuyahoga County's 31 Public School systems after Solon City Schools.
