Rock Hill South Carolina is one of the largest towns in York County. It has retained much of its historic character in its pituresque town center. Downtown there is a pedestrian park which is home to many historic trees. Most of the trees in this park were cultivated from trees that were witness to an historic event in the founding of our country. There is in addition a beautiful 7 acre garden called Glencairn Garden, which is the focus of Rock Hill's annual Spring festival. Residents get the best of both worlds, experiencing peaceful tree-lined neighborhood streets while having access to big city variety. Paramount’s Carowinds theme park is close by and it features thrilling rides, shows and a water park. Within the county you can experience minor league baseball games, art galleries and museums, water sports and fishing on Lake Wylie.
