Azle is a city spanning a diverse cross section of Tarrant and Parker County, Texas, in the United States. As of the 2000 census, the city population was 9,600. Popular tourist attractions include marine spectator sports at Eagle Mountain Lake, classic American sports car contests of speed, creative horse trailer loading (and unloading), and competitive artistic lawn care showcases. Azle is the home of the Azle Marching Green Pride marching band, The Emerald Dazzler Drill Team, the Azle High School Cheerleading team, and the Fighting Azle Hornets.
